All core services of the Office of the Assessor-Recorder continue and remain available to the public. Our Office continues to receive and process your requests submitted electronically, by mail, or through our drop box located at the Grove Street entrance of City Hall.
We are excited to announce the launch of our new online tool for faster and more cost-effective orders of public Marriage Certificates. Simply fill out the online application and complete the verification process. After verification and payment, your request will be approved for mail order processing.
In 2020, California voters passed Proposition 19 , which makes changes to property tax benefits for families, seniors, severely disabled persons, and victims of natural disaster. In response, our Office has created a one-stop webpage to help you understand and prepare for the upcoming changes.
We are excited to announce our new shopping cart feature for recorded documents. Official records will be available for instant download and certified copies can be ordered online for mail order processing. Through a safe and secure site, you can search, add official records to a “shopping cart” order for payment, and obtain official records instantly via PDF download.
