For the 12 months following this transition, constituents who call the Office’s prior phone number will automatically be transferred to our new line. SIMPLIFYING BUSINESS FILINGS ONLINE

 

SAN FRANCISCO – This filing season, the Office of the Assessor-Recorder is launching a new online filing portal for businesses located in San Francisco.  In the past, organizations or enterprises with business personal property reported property manually through a paper-based filing process.  This year, most businesses will have the opportunity to file and submit their annual statements directly online.

“The e-filing portal is secure and convenient. Having been raised with a small family business, I understand how tough it is to find time to come to City Hall or to file paperwork,” explained Assessor Chu.  “My hope is that this improvement helps to simplify the process and can give business owners just a little more time back.” added Chu.
