Real Estate Watchdog Program

The Office of the Assessor-Recorder’s Real Estate Watchdog Program expired in April 2016. We still appreciate information from members of the public to ensure that all real property is assessed in accordance with state law. If you have identified a citizen that has failed to report property values and is evading property taxes, or if you have specific knowledge or information that supports an unreported activity, we would recommend contacting 3-1-1, San Francisco's customer service center, and filling out information with your complaint in a Service Request Ticket which can be accessed by clicking here.  All complaints will be carefully evaluated to determine whether it warrants an investigation.
