In the next few weeks, the Office of the Assessor-Recorder will transition to a new main office phone number, 628-652-8100. For the 12 months following this transition, constituents who call the Office’s prior phone number will automatically be transferred to our new line. Homeowners’ Exemption Claim Form, English Version

Claim for Homeowners' Exemption (BOE-266)

If you own a home and occupy it as your principal place of residence on January 1, you may apply for an exemption of $7,000 from the home’s assessed value, which reduces your property tax bill.

Submission Deadline: February 15 or before the 30th day following the date of notice of supplemental assessment, whichever comes first.
